Clarkson Autogas - Why Change

lpg van

Reasons to change:

Over the last few years the duty on petrol has seen a significant rise, as has the duty on diesel. The long-term prospects for duty on both petrol and diesel are set to continue to rise. Liquid petroleum gas on the other hand has seen duty levels fall and is now frozen for the next 2 years.

Converting vehicles to run on 'green Autogas' will be beneficial to the environment. An LPG conversion will have the potential to save motorists (both commercial and private) thousands of pounds. Autogas is now less than half the price of petrol or diesel and is set to remain so for the foreseeable future.

Clarkson Autogas work alongside their clients and are able to forecast accurately just how much their saving will be and each converted vehicle's respective break-even point. Savings vary, depending on type of vehicle and annual mileage, but it is usual for 'thirsty' vehicles or high mileage vehicles to save enough money in fuel bills alone to cover the cost of the conversion in less than six months.
